YOU HAVE TO QUEUE: DO'S AND DONT'S


Since I am writing this task from Oxford, UK, I will tell you a few things which you have to do and which you mustn't do when in England. I am sure you may know some of them already:

HAVE TO:
1. You have to drive on the left.
2. You have to queue for the bus, paying at the tills, etc.
3. You have to say 'good morning' and 'thank you' to the bus driver.

MUST NOT
1. You must not jump the queue.
2. You must not smoke in public places.
3. You must not brag.

Your turn:
Write 3 sentences telling foreingers what they Have to do when coming to Romania, and 3 sentences about what they Must not do.

A SENTENCE THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN WRITTEN, CANNOT BE REPEATED!

    You have to pay attention to our driving rules.
    You have to reset your clock when you arrive to Romania.
    You have to exchange your money to RON.

    MUST NOT:
    You must not pass the speed limits.
    You must not drink alcohol when you drive a car.
    You must not use drogs or other illegal things.

  4. You have to try traditional Romanian food, as the cabbage meat rolls with polenta and garnish with sour cream.
    You have to drive the Transfagarasan, according to the editors of BBC Top Gear who took a drive test here: the best road in the world
    You have to visit the Danube Delta .

    You must not drive a car without the vignette, a road toll to allow you to use the national roads.
    You must not change your money in the street, money should be changed in recognised exchange shops, banks and hotels.
    You must not stay more than 90 days without a visa.

    visit Sighisoara and Sinaia

    In Romania, you must not: doing businesses with suspicious persons
    leave your hotel door unlocked

    1.You have to observe the lack of good manners.
    2.You have to take a cab to arrive to the destination.
    3.You have to taste romanian traditional foods,like polenta with cheese,mititei.

    Must not:
    1.You must not loose your temper in traffic.
    2.You must not smoke in non-smoking places.
    3.You must not drive under the influence of drugs.

    You have to visit the monasteries of Moldavia.
    You have to taste traditional Romanian wine.
    You have to respect the Romanian laws.

    MUST NOT…

    You must not leave the car unlocked.
    You must not smoke in public buildings, shops or restaurants, except for places where it is allowed.
    You most not leave documents or valuables unattended.

  9. Dear student bloggers,

    Please remember that:

    HAVE TO = Obligation, e.g. you have to wear the seat belts when you drive

    If you make a suggestion to someone to visit or taste something you say: You should visit the monastery, you should taste Romanian wine, etc. You don't use 'have to'.

    Mustn't = negative obligation: University students mustn't wear uniforms.

    I hope this will help you write correct examples.

    you must be careful TO the radar and you have to pay attention to indicators when YOU park the car. And I think you wanted to say that you must not disturb public SILENCE.

    The one with being slick and single, I think is your opinion, isn't it?

    - Respect the speed limit
    - Be very watchful when you choose your parking lot
    - Eat in restaurants how much is possible and not in fast-foods






    You must not:
    - Be worried by the language because a lot of Romanians speak English
    - Argue with the office workers of the institutions
    - Try to pay with dollars or euro because you will have a few chances to succeed

    Pay the driver when you travel with minibus.
    Drive on the right side of the road.
    Keep the speed limit at 50km/h when you drive between villages.

    Must not:
    Accept turist guides without checking their credentials beforehand.
    Get out of the car when a police officer stopes you.
    Park in places reserved for handicap people.

    You have to speak in roumanian if you want to be understood by everybody.
    You have to stop at the red colour ot the traffic light.
    You must not sing in the church.
    You must not eat all the meal from your plate.
    You must not leave the restaurant before you pay your bill.

  15. You have to to buy bus ticket if you travel with bus.You have to be careful to thieves.You have to know the language,because not everybody knows English.You should to visit turistic attractions,to know the country.And also,you should taste Romanian traditional food.
    You musn't drink alcohol when you're driving.You musn't trust in everybody who wants to help you.You musn't drive if you haven't driving license.

    You have to pay for public toilet.
    You have to get a fishing permit to fish or you will get fined.

    MUST NOT:
    You must not walk alone at night on unlit places and the police will advise you the same.
    You must not park you car downtown without buying a parking space.
    You must not drink while driving.

    If travelling on a domestic air flight ,you have to have your passport ready for inspection at all times.
    If driving, you have to be alert for horse-drawn carts especially night.
    You have to leave your shoes outside when you enter the house, if everyone else does that.
    If you have a large dog, it have to wear muzzle.


    MUST NOT :

    You must not smoke in all public places including hospitals, concert halls, and theaters.
    You must not speak Romanian language, because young people speak English and they are very happy to help you around.
    You must not be worried about water .Some Romanian bottled water is rated the best in the world for purity and taste and is exported to many foreign countries.
    You must not take all your money with you,... you never know.

    Are you sure 'you must not stop at the red colour of the traffic lights'??? I guess you have to!

  28. You have to know that Romania is two hours before Greenwich Mean Time.
    You have to know that Romania uses the metric system.
    You have to know that the quality of roads is bad and it*s better to come by plane.
    You must not give money for the deadbeats.
    If you find any public toilettes,you must pay for them.
    You must not hesitate to take a taxi,it*s not that expensive.

    You have learnt the have to's in Romania. I think that you mustn't TOUCH CHILDREN applies in your contry as well?! How about You MUSTN'T GO SHOPPING? Is there something different about 'have to' and 'mustn't' in Turkey?

  36. Yes. l can love and touch them, even if l don't know them. when l go to children park, l can play with them.parents aren't disturbed. Also on sundays a lot of shops are close here. most of them ın my country are open. :)
